New Life Institute Screening - 5/31/2008
Normand Cartier spoke at the Lost in Woonsocket screening at the New Life Institute. The event raised enough money to fund three months of mental health services for the Institutes clients.
Normand Visits With Beyond Our Walls - 5/3/2008
Normand Cartier joined the Barrington RI group "Beyond Our Walls" for their March event where 133 teenagers slept outside at their high school in cardboard boxes. Participants collected donations from the community to support Rhode Island organizations serving the homeless. The event provided an opportunity for teenagers to come together to accomplish a meaningful project.

Normand Joins Rehoboth Congregational Church Homeless Village - 11/18/2007
Normand joined Pastor Scott Spencer of the Rehoboth Congressional Church in Massachusetts to speak about his recovery. What he didn’t know is that the children of the church had built a homeless “village” in a field and had committed to staying there for two nights in 30-degree weather.
LAFIA Joins Celebration of MLF Truck Arrival in Woonsocket - 9/30/2007
The LAFIA media team returned to Woonsocket, Rhode Island to shoot the triumphant arrival of the Mobile Loaves and Fishes homeless catering truck to Pastor Brian’s River ministry. The day began with The River’s MLF truck being escorted into town by a contingent of 50 Christian motorcyclists. It was quite a sight! Stopped everyone on the street.
