Lost In Woonsocket Campaign |
The Lost in Woonsocket campaign offers showings of this inspiring film and sales of a Special Edition DVD as fund raisers for recovery, homeless, and faith based organizations.
Mobile Loaves & Fishes – “Common Table” - WebCAM/GPS Project |
LAFIA is partnering with Mobile Loaves & Fishes (MLF) to enhance, expand and promote the MLF WebCAM/GPS network that deploys web cameras on MLF catering trucks serving homeless populations on the streets of Austin and San Antonio, TX, Nashville, TN, Providence RI and New Orleans, LA.
The purpose of the “live” WebCAM/GPS network feeds is to connect the work being done by MLF personnel and volunteers on the streets to a worldwide audience over the web. Using their Internet browser, audience members will be able to choose a MLF catering truck to “visit” virtually and witness the work being done in real time, watch the stories that are being exchanged between the volunteers and those being served and make a micro-donation to the truck of their choice.
Faces & Voices of Recovery - "Recovery Stories" Documentary Series |
Faces and Voices of Recovery and Lost & Found in America (LAFIA) are developing a multi-media documentary project with the working title “Recovery Stories” that will capture and promote the stories of individuals involved in the emergence of long-term recovery communities as the new paradigm of response for those struggling with alcohol and drug addiction. The project will employ web, television networks and documentary film outlets to distribute and promote the stories that are captured during this campaign.
